Getting North

Jeff, my mother Jane Walker, and I have made it to NY/NJ. We have been very lucky to visit with our family members. During our drive north from Virginia Beach we stopped in to visit Aunt Pat & Uncle Gerry Murphy in Selbyville, DE. We had a wonderful dinner and stayed the night. The weather from tropical storm Tammy was tough driving with lots of rain and big wind, we were happy to get some rest. On Saturday we drove to Point Pleasant, NJ to visit Aunt Aida and Uncle Kenneth Nelson. We originally were going to stay a few hours and then make the rest of the trip in northern NJ, however we had such a great time hanging with the Nelson's we decided to stay the night. Sunday, after a nourishing breakfast, we set out to get to our final destination: Weehawken, NJ. We made it in great time and stopped to see the Edwards Family. Aunt Susan and Cousin Maureen welcomed us in and we had a great time catching up. We were lucky to be invited up to Maureen's new home, a beautiful apartment with a spectacular view. She hosted us to a wonderful lunch. Our final destination on Sunday is Grandma Mary Nelson's. We made it and have been relaxing since. We have a few plans while we are in town, visiting more family and seeing some sites.
